The 600-watt motor in this Cuisinart is a nice step up from lower-priced models. It shredded a block of cheddar in seconds. The two speeds give control, and the pulse function is handy. The 7-cup bowl is a good size for most recipes. The continuous feed tube is great for slicing cucumbers or carrots. Cleanup is easy with dishwasher-safe parts. I wish it came with more blades (only one included) and the plastic feels average. Also, the feed tube is a bit short, so long veggies need trimming. Solid performance for the price.
